NCBW Greater Cleveland Chapter, Women Making A Difference Foundation and The Cleveland Public Library are pleased to present “And Justice For All” Conference with Nikki Giovanni, Cleveland Author Jameel Davis and other special guests Friday November 11th – Saturday November 12th 2022.
This event seeks to educate attendees on four socio economic issues that are addressed in the 21st century. The conference workshops will focus and explore: Affordable Housing and Homeownership, Financial Literacy, Health and Wellness, and Youth Vision and Development.
Join us in Cleveland, Ohio at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel in Independence Friday Evening as we kick off the conference with our reception and Keynote Speaker, American Poet, Writer, Commentator, Activist and Educator, “Nikki Giovanni.” Author & Speaker, Jameel Davis will formally present Nikki Giovanni to Cleveland and will be featured with his new book, Completely Naked. On Saturday, Jameel Davis will be presenting his Generational Curses Screening & Discussion.
Generational Curses is a Black History experience like none-other. Developed from Chapter 3 of international author and speaker Jameel Davis’ fourth highly anticipated book, “Completely Naked,” Generational Curses will take guests on an journey of how our history began in America, exactly how we were made slaves, broken into new roles that aren’t natural, how we have arrived to where we are now and how we can break the chains of dysfunction; working against oppression to restore us back to our natural roles. Let’s heal ourselves, our boys, our girls, black men, black women and the black community together.
Jameel Davis will also be our featured Spoken Word Artist during our Luncheon and Awards Dinner Gala in which you do not want to miss.
