Jameel Davis is a celebrated international award winning Cleveland author, international speaker, writer, and founder of ElevatedWaves Publishing Corporation, the only Black-owned publishing company in Cleveland, Ohio. He serves his community as a Law Enforcement Supervisor and Crisis Intervention Specialist with the Cuyahoga County Sheriff Department. Born and raised in poverty-dominated communities of Cleveland, Davis brings a wealth of first-hand experiences to his work, inspiring readers and audiences with messages of grit, determination, sacrifice, resiliency, motivation, and success. He is dedicated to promoting kindness, understanding, and hope to disadvantaged children and adults alike. A prolific author, his published works include β€œHow Success Became My Focus,” β€œCultivating Minds To Own Thyself,” β€œIn Between These Sheets,” β€œCompletely Naked,” and β€œSEX-Esteem.” He is known for his motivational talks, inspiring poetry, and educational seminars on topics ranging from social and emotional learning to book publishing, family, dating, and relationships.Β  Davis’s commitment to empowering others and sharing his story has led him to make author and speaking appearances across the country and internationally.
