Cleveland’s Own Jameel Davis is an internationally recognized speaker, writer, author and book publisher by day and he serves his community as a full time Correctional Officer and Crisis Intervention Specialist by night at the Cuyahoga County Sheriff Department in Cleveland, Ohio. Jameel is the founder of ElevatedWaves Publishing Corporation and brings with him a plethora of first hand experiences, which led to several skill sets that range from grit, determination, and sacrifice to resiliency, motivation and success.
Dedicated to promoting kindness, understanding and hope to disadvantaged children and adults alike, Jameel is committed to sharing his story, lifting up others and shining rays of hope throughout Cleveland, Ohio and beyond. He is devoted to coaching individuals during times of change, empathizing with their perspectives and taking time to help them through their problems. Fueled by passion to help make people better, Jameel encourages us to free our mind by writing and to adopt a more positive attitude.
