IF YOUR CHILD’S SCHOOL HASN’T HAD ME, YOUR CHILD IS MISSING OUT ON SO MUCH!
Jameel Davis
Bryon Bolden, Jameel’s former Junior High School & High School Physical Education Instructor and Basketball Coach, contacted him on the evening of Monday October 14, 2019 and asked if he could appear at Franklin D. Roosevelt Academy and share with students his story of hurdling obstacles that keep others from achieving their goals, as well as his recipe for achieving personal success. Mr. Bolden continued,
“I’m proud of your story and enjoy seeing your successnh. Keep at it. I’m watching… I love seeing my former students become successful. I try to tell all of them the sky is the limit. I speak of you all all the time. You all didn’t understand it when we told you all, now you all are our success stories. Something sunk in, whether it was me or my colleagues, some one got through. As well as life lessons.”
I truly appreciate the discipline you instilled in me as it was definitely a factor in helping me become self-discipline. It’s always a good feeling knowing that you played a vital role in someone’s success. I’m glad I chose A.B. Hart Middle School and South High School.
