I have been meaning to tackle this particular discussion for sometime time now and after seeing this tweet on twitter today I was encouraged to speak on it briefly.
Because I am a writer, the sentence should read, the ratio of men to women is something like 1:10. There’s a famous saying that says,
“there’s someone for everyone.”
The truth is, there is someone for everyone, but they may not have that person all to themselves. Women in particular; especially black women. I say this to say, for every black man, there is about twenty or so black women. Out of the few black men we have, many make up the jail and prison population and are preparing for their home on the inside for crimes against humanity and the justice system many say is corrupt. Many are filling up cemeteries, dying in the hands of our own kind or by justifiable homicides caused by white uniformed officers.
Out of the men who are buried, caged, and who are preparing for entry or reentry, the ones we have left are ones who are either great and are already with a woman and/or a family, are great but are apart of the LBGTQIA community, are great and single but are working on their dreams, businesses and careers, and those who are walking vegetables and who are destroying the light within our women.
Many people I’ve spoken to over the years didn’t believe me when I said, “monogamy in the black community/culture is going to reach a dead end…”
So what’s a black girl or woman who is heterosexual and cultural-oriented to do? 🤷🏽♀️
- Love herself and herself only for the rest of her life?
- Birth her own babies she’s been longing to have?
- Marry herself?
- Wait patiently for a brother who is never coming home?
- Wait to Marry a deceased man in the after life if there is one?
- Become a mistress?
- Join the LBGTIA community?
You tell me. I suggest she do what’s best for her and not what the world suggests for her to do. And because the ratio of black men and black women doesn’t match up evenly, I personally cannot disagree with, or belittle a black woman for trying to fill a void within her, a void that every woman is trying to fill that is caused by both social engineering and propaganda that is beyond her control. The writer of the tweet says, it’s not right for a woman to be involved with a guy that she knows already has a woman because it’s lame.
Being a lame built our civilization and our culture. So, if being a lame makes you feel secure due to circumstances that are beyond your control, then be a lame. Especially if it’s for the forward advancement of our culture and your happiness, because of the behaviors of the oppressors who are working deliberately to exterminate our entire existence.
The Ratio of men to women is 1:20, so what happens when all black men are gone and there are only women? How will our culture advance?
