We are only two weeks away before Cleveland Author Jameel Davis make his debut in your city for Detroit Book City’s 2nd Annual African American Family Book Expo that will be held on Sunday February 25, 2018, from 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM

You don’t want to miss his 15 Minutes of Fame during the Author’s Boardroom Storytelling / Pitch Session. He is scheduled to speak at 3:00 P.M. but will be present at noon with his captivating books and journals.

Author Jameel Davis present to you… ‘TRAPPED’ …three of his most powerful and highly requested spoken-word pieces that is guaranteed to move you: “I Don’t Deserve To Be Shot Down,” “Wake-Up,” and “White.”

He shares his motivation behind his books. You’ll be challenged to examine yourself and others who take on the role of education, so that you may reach your desired destination. You will learn to demand your respect in society and to express yourself fully as a black leader.”

Jameel Davis is a celebrated international award winning Cleveland author, international speaker, writer, and founder of ElevatedWaves Publishing Corporation, the only Black-owned publishing company in Cleveland, Ohio. He serves his community as a Law Enforcement Supervisor and Crisis Intervention Specialist with the Cuyahoga County Sheriff Department. Born and raised in poverty-dominated communities of Cleveland, Davis brings a wealth of first-hand experiences to his work, inspiring readers and audiences with messages of grit, determination, sacrifice, resiliency, motivation, and success.
