I’m voting JORDYN BURNS for Mayor 🤚🏾

JORDYN BURNS submission in “Adults Just Don’t Get It,” (Published by ElevatedWaves Publishing, ART-C and I ) is “When Kids Say They’re Hungry Adults Should Listen” — Page 37-38.

Her art submission is a campaign ad she created for herself and her initiative to ensure restaurants give children free meals when they enter their establishment because children are often without food.

“I know a lot of kids who are hungry everyday. It’s not right. No kid should ever go hungry. I made my art with a rainbow and saying, I wil run for mayor. I want restaurants to give kids who walk in free food. They need to eat. They go without food and this would help them. If I was mayor. I would do this for every kid.”

During our conversation at the book launch event, I suggested to also implement the waiver of adult tickets at kid establishments such as amusement parks and other primarily kid friendly events because the kids can’t attend without their parents and often times parents aren’t participating in the activities. ⚙️ 🧠
