PRINCESS TO QUEEN invites Jameel Davis to their Black History Month Celebration.

Award-winning Cleveland author & poet Jameel Davis, will recite one of his original poems, “We Are More Than Just A Color“, 6:00 P.M. Monday February 26, 2018 at Cleveland Heights-University Heights Library. His poem is written to inspire the young ladies of “Princess To Queen” and the community as part of the Celebration of Black History Month. Many community partners will be joining as princesses will present a person in our history they’re inspired by, as we enjoy delicious soul food catered by Chef Stacey Stoudemire of Simply Elegant Catering.

Princess To Queen currently has five spots available for young ladies ages 11-18, looking to join a mentoring program. You can message Princess To Queen on Facebook to express interest.

About Jameel Davis

Jameel Davis is a celebrated international award winning Cleveland author, international speaker, writer, and founder of ElevatedWaves Publishing Corporation, the only Black-owned publishing company in Cleveland, Ohio. He serves his community as a Law Enforcement Supervisor and Crisis Intervention Specialist with the Cuyahoga County Sheriff Department.
